Sasha Green’s father was attacked and now she fights for those who need her. But Sasha is killed and agrees to become the concubine and ally of Ares. Ares, a God, doesn’t realize just how stubborn mortals can be or how much he could love one. I mean really - who had heard of the God of War falling in love? It happened though, and being the loving brute he is, Ares makes fatal mistakes such as ordering his fiery human around.

All is not loving banter between these two, and it seems that one of Ares’ former girlfriends, if you could call her that, has issues with Ares brushing her off, and has decided that Sasha is the one to pay for it.

But everyone knows that a mortal woman has no chance against a goddess, right? Maybe not in your fairytales, but in Ms. Rose's tales they can and will. The only thing that can truly tear this couple apart is that she is mortal, but Ares may have something to say about that.

This was a hilarious look into what the gods are up to now, and though I am reminded of a favorite television show when I read Ares’ name, it is not the same. It was a pleasure to see the God of War brought low by a human woman. OF GODS AND ONE WOMAN caught me from the start.
