It is the perfect opportunity for Allison. It’s payback time. She wins the bid and proceeds to humiliate Randy in the way he had humiliated her on prom night. Revenge is sweet, but Randy is not of this opinion. Ally, the woman he’s had the hots for all this time, is back in his life, and he’ll be damned if he lets her get away.
Is more than revenge in the cards for Allison and Randy?
I really enjoyed reading this book. Ms. Hunter writes with a very lyrical voice, and the world she creates is your every day idea of a little town. The characters are vivid, and some even scream off the page. They’ve been portrayed well. She catches the dilemma in Allison’s life really well, and combined with the steamy attraction between the main protagonists, this is one read that will not bore a reader. The sex scenes are hot, and woven in so well that they feel like an integral part of the story. This is a hard feat to achieve, and Ms. Hunter deserves the thumbs up for this alone. I highly recommend this book.
