The heroine of this story is a smart, tech-savvy, blonde-bombshell called Lindsay Riordan. She works hard to portray a professional image at Tron Corp because she hates how people judge her by her looks. She rejects every offer for a date and any hint of immoral behavior.

Our hero, Jared Hunt, seems an unlikely candidate at the beginning of the book. Lindsay overhears him talking to two other male employees at Tron Corp about a sexual encounter with Lindsay that never happened. But Lindsay is not going to let him ruin her reputation just to impress the ’idiot twins’! She sneaks over to his house to make sure he has not manufactured ‘evidence’ of their imaginary encounter. When Jared comes home early, Lindsay hides in his closet and watches him masturbate to pictures of her, planting the seeds for her revenge.

After waiting for Jared to go to sleep, Lindsay tries to leave. Jared hears something and goes to investigate. During the ensuing scuffle, Jared falls and hits his head…and wakes up bound and blind-folded. Jared owes Lindsay an apology and she knows just how he can make it up to her. Jared is more than willing, but he also wants to clear the air on his lie. He runs a security and investigation firm, and was hired to find out who was leaking bidding information from Tron Corp. He thinks the two men can lead him to the right person and he had been trying for months to gain their trust. Finally, as a last resort, Jared pretended to live out his fantasy. Jared had me eating out of the palm of his hand by the final pages.

Ask me how I’d describe this book by Ms. Harte and I’ll tell you - Yum! Yum! And yum! This book has great elements to it - exceptional writing, believable and lovable characters, and an exciting plot. The leading lady is spunky and not afraid to kick-butt, the male protagonist is a world-class champ (sexy to boot), and the bad guys get what they deserve. And the sex? The sex is searing, frequent, and just a little bit naughty. It all works together to deliver a wonderful read.
