THE CLAIMING OF BETHANY caught me off guard in the beginning; I began to wonder if any woman who was obviously experienced in love and supposedly life yet completely immature could actually become a heroine we could rally behind. Yet Ms. Marquis, in a story which ended too soon for me, not only transformed Bethany into a woman we can be proud of but also gave us a hero in Northe than many a women will pant over.
If you are looking for a book that focuses on the growth from spoiled brat to a beautiful woman and a hero whom we can all hope wins, then look no farther than THE CLAIMING OF BETHANY. I know I will revisit them time and time again.
