As Cambria Morgan sat on the train heading to what she hoped would be a start of a new life, she ponders on what has happened to her over the past few years. After the death of her husband, Mathias, her life to come a halt. She needed space and time to try to heal her heart. The ghost of her husband was with her every moment, every thought...

When Cade Kincannon saw her walking out of the train car they were sitting in to get some air, he notice two ruffians following her out; he knew what would happen if he didn't help. After he sent then on their way, he found out that she was going to be the new school teacher and that she was married. He knew that it would be hard to get over the thoughts of her.

After getting settled in with the Sinclair's, Cambria realizes that her thoughts and her heart are turning to Cade, but can she ever let go of the ghost of her late husband so that she could love whole-heartily again. Would Cade wait for her? Could she find the courage to let go of the ghost she carries inside her heart?

It's a very special treat when a author can take you into the depth of the heart. Ms. Bryon has done just that with BENEATH A CRIMSON SKY. You just fall in love with her characters. She brings them to life with passion, hope and an sense of self healing. She also puts you in touch with life in a small lumber town in the late 1800. This book was wonderful to read. It bought out all the emotions in me that I could want from reading a book. I hope to read more from Ms. Bryon.
