Not all is bad for Meredith though, no. She finds that she is more powerful than anyone ever imagined. She also learns that though she cannot control her heart, Danu will not leave her heartbroken…well, mostly. Many of us who have followed the series have been hoping our heroes made the final cut and became King to Merry’s Queen, well good news for many - we have gotten our wish. If you want to know who has made the impossible possible, well, ...you will have to read the book.
There is a real bittersweetness to the story as well, though Taranis might be on his way out, though Merry got the father - or was it fathers - we all wanted, though it seems she has won the race, love comes with pain and a deep searing pain is what happens when the one you love the most is suddenly gone. But, is all hope lost? Is the one that Merry held dear to her heart gone?
Only time and reading A LICK OF FROST will answer any and all of these questions, and leave you with even more. I felt honored, and still do, to have been given the chance to read it before publication. I cannot wait to see what the final copy will look like, and hope to get the pleasure of reading more of the ‘Merry Gentry’ Series in the future.
Ms. Hamilton has shown what she is made of and grabs you from the first word to the last, leaving you wanting more. Ballentine Books continues to stand at the top, continually producing truly exceptional books.

I am hooked, and (excuse the pun) no I don’t mean a right hook either. I am and will be a devoted reader of these great heroines, and masculine, yet oh-so-gentle heroes. What an amazing second book (check out my review of CAUSING HAVOC)!
In this installment of the SBC (Supreme Battle Challenge) stories, Simon "the Sublime" Evans has decided to get back into the ring and compete once again. Simon however has more than a simple battle with Harley to contend with but the very intriguing, brassy and somewhat broken Dakota Dream and his need for her to fight as well.
Dakota has had a hard life and frightening past, but not one to be bowled over by anybody, she has finally found a way to escape her stepfather Barnaby. Dakota has enough guilt over her mother’s death and for making the worst mistake of her life marrying Marvin Dream. All Barnaby wants is for Dakota to get Simon to see him. Dakota could not have realized that her favorite SBC fighter would be the one man to get her blood racing yet again.
As if these two did not have enough problems, Marvin has decided to reclaim what is his, and he is not above hurting her and anybody else to get it. Can Dakota survive the attentions of her ex-husband? Can she ever really trust Simon, and will he forgive her for the people whom she knows and is related too?
Wow! Amazing, astounding. WOW! I absolutely loved SIMON SAYS. Not a huge sports fan, some of the terminology would have stumped or bored me but Ms. Foster knows her way with words and brings passion to an otherwise frightening sport. All I could say when I finished this was, "When is the next one due"? Will it be Barber, Mallet, or Harley next? Please say that there is a next one, Ms. Foster…and please hurry!

Richard Kemet, a male Amon-Kai or Lanor-zur, has faced his own trials throughout their separation, but not even the monster he becomes is harder to deal with than convincing Rachel that they were never brother and sister, but a mated pair.
Ms. Anderson is an extremely talented author, and though I found the revelations into the past events that either did or didn’t take place hard to wrap around, she is worth looking up and reading. The repeated references to Richard and Rachel being adopted brother and sister took away from the actual story and should not have been focused on so much, never giving the reader a chance to focus on the changing factors of the story. However the characters from Rachel and Richard to Charles, her fiancé, and Genevieve, her friend, are very real to the reader and bring a nice element to the plot.

Ms. Rowe has created a world not that much different than our own, which allows the reader to feel even more connected to the story. Don’t let the fact Satan play a role in this tale keeps you from reading it. The bowels of Hell are just as terrifying as you would expect, yet the love shown throughout the story gives you the impression that maybe it can and will concur all. This tale is the ultimate testament and example of good being inside everyone and that good will find a way to escape evil no matter the cost.

Yes, Sookie really has a fairy that is assigned to help her and guide her. Even though Sookie listens to the advice and knows that they may be right and going to the Summit is a bad thing, she goes with the vampires anyway. Not only does she need and want the obscene amount of money the Queen of Louisiana is offering for her telepathic services, Sookie gave her word.
Eric surprises her before leaving town with a very emotional spiel, well, from a vampire at least. Then when they arrive at the summit, not only does Eric shock her again, but so does Bill and Quinn. While there in the beautiful pyramid-shaped hotel, Sookie and the vampires stumbles on a murder mystery, and another attack against the vampires.
Sookie and Quinn have grown closer and yes, finally declared themselves as a couple. However, the ties between Eric and Sookie have grown and may jeopardize this budding romance. Not to mention what is lurking in both Sookie’s and Quinn’s past. I know all of this may sound overwhelming to you, but the weddings and bridal showers are even more terrifying to our gal Sookie.
I personally love this newest look into our favorite blonde heroine’s life. Although I missed Sam and Jason as they only had a partial role this time around, I will be reading this book again and again. Way to go Ms. Harris! I cannot wait for number 8 in the Sookie Stackhouse series. I give ALL TOGETHER DEAD 5 Enchantments and would go higher if I could. For those of you who haven’t read a Sookie Stackhouse novel or any of Ms. Harris’ books, I urge you to pick up one today.
