A vampire that thinks of humans only as food is an unlikely hero. Until Sebastian meets a young girl who changes all that. He has kept to himself for so long he does not know if he can trust himself with her. But he cannot let her go for she could be the one to cure his loneliness. First he has to win her trust and her heart. Then, hope it is not too late for them both.

In a single instant, both of their lives change, but only time will tell if it is for the better or worse. Two people that will have to learn to trust in each other. Teran has been down that road before and the one that she trusted the most betrayed her. Can she open her heart again? If she does, will Sebastian do the same?

I really liked this book. I could get behind the characters and cheer them on. I did not want it to end; I loved the way the characters interacted together. But that is a Ms. England trademark - her characters are so riveting. She just keeps you wanting more. I am disappointed that the book was not longer. But I cannot wait for her next book.
